Transporter

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
• Maintains a safe and germ-free environment for all customers.
• Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.
• Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.
• Completes assigned goals.

Specifications

• Experience: Minimum required: 6 months hospital or customer service experience. Preferred/Desired: Minimum required knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Education: Minimum required: HS diploma/GED or higher. Preferred/Desired: Higher education not specified.
