Transporter

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, equipment, and/or supplies throughout hospital to ensure items are available when needed for patient care.
• Maintains a safe and germ-free environment for all customers.
• Documents all patient transports on appropriate departmental log.
• Inspects equipment prior to usage to ensure in proper working order.
• Completes assigned goals.

Specifications

• Experience:

  • Minimum Required: 6 months hospital or customer service experience.

• Education:

  • Minimum Required: Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred/Desired: HS diploma/GED or higher.

• Training:

  • Preferred/Desired: Special Skills.

• Licensure:

  • N/A
