TRANSPORTATION SURVEYOR PARTY CHIEF (CALTRANS)
Job Description and Duties
The position involves planning, leading others, delivering projects on time meeting Caltrans Specifications, prioritizing workload, flexibility in changing tasks, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating technical experience in field and office Survey work.
Minimum Requirements
You must possess a California Land Surveyors' License and a valid driver’s license. Unofficial transcripts or diplomas may be required for verification.
Special Requirements
Possession of a California Land Surveyors' License is required. You must provide a copy of your license prior to being hired. A valid driver’s license is also required when operating a state-owned or leased vehicle.
Statement of Qualifications
The Statement of Qualifications should include a 1-2 page, 12-point font document describing your experience as it relates to the position/duty statement. It must include your name.

- Describe your experience in planning, leading others, ability to deliver projects on time meeting Caltrans Specifications.
- Describe your experience in prioritizing workload & flexibility in changing task frequently and meeting deadlines.
- Describe your technical experience related to field and office Survey work, listing the field and office software you are familiar with.
Working Conditions
The position is located at 1226 Olive Dr, Bakersfield, Kern County. Multiple positions may be filled from this recruitment.
