Transportation Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and staff to maximize workforce effectiveness and ensure timely deliveries.
• Track driver departure times and report relevant information to management.
• Manage departure times and ensure daily departmental functions run smoothly and efficiently.
• Implement schedules and manage departure times.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and notify customers of delays or accidents.
• Share on-call responsibilities within the Transportation Department to address urgent issues.
• Provide backup support to the Transportation Manager, including log data entry and quality checks.
• Serve as a central point of communication for schedule changes and new account services across departments.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Department of Transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to coordinate complex schedules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
