Transportation Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a driven professional leader with exceptional communication and computer skills. Flexibility to work any shift, strong math skills, and SAP knowledge are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss and damage.
• Ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully.
• Assist in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed customer delivery needs.
• Promptly solve problems to the maximum satisfaction of customers.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety.
• Partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience, or
• High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience.

Pay

USD $68,057.60/Yr. - USD $85,072.00/Yr.
