About the role
Four day work schedule: Either Monday-Thursday or Wednesday-Saturday
Shift: 12:00am - 10:00am
Responsibilities
- Ensure annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss and damage
- Ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully
- Assist in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed customers’ delivery needs
- Promptly solve problems to the maximum satisfaction of customers
- Provide development to supervisory and driver staff
- Potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety
- Partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or
- High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience
