Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport production ag and energy products to designated locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of production ag input and energy products to customers, following all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of production ag input and energy products, ensuring they are securely fastened and properly stored.
  • Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and manage documentation such as delivery receipts and logs.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Report any mechanical issues or damage to the vehicles promptly and coordinate repairs as needed.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the operation of commercial vehicles.
  • Follow company safety policies and procedures, including properly handling and transporting hazardous materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction with deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents during transport.
  • Submit reports and documentation as required by the company and regulatory agencies.

Required Qualifications And Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Obtain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with required endorsements (e.g., HazMat, Tanker) within six months of employment and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.
  • Previous Experience In Agronomy Or Energy Transportation Is Preferred.
  • Knowledge of safe handling and transportation of crop production input and energy products, including hazardous materials.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required for loading and unloading.
  • The role involves physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy products.
  • Basic mechanical skills for vehicle maintenance and inspections.
  • This position requires driving for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
