Responsibilities

  • Manage Michigan DSD branches demand for product by running truck builds, printing daily pick tickets, and managing timely processing of STO's from shipment to receipt.
  • Track all loads shipping on SPLK and common carriers, and ensure on-time processes to manage efficiencies. Participate in efficiency reviews and development.
  • Coordinate and manage relationships with supplying plants to maintain in-stock status and timely receipts. Assist branches with delivery inquiries and cross-train as needed.
  • Align activities with audit guidelines to ensure SOX compliance regarding shipping. Assist with driver safety training and provide assistance with new approaches and procedures.
  • Maintain transport driver records for DOT compliance. Order supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in transportation.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking.
  • Experience with SAP and Mastery Dispatch is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.
