Job Type: FT30 Pay: $15.00/hour Schedule Monday: 6:45am-10am and 1pm-3:30pmTuesday: 7am-10am and 1pm-3pmWednesday: 6:45am-10am and 1pm-3:30pmThursday: 7am-10am and 1pm-3pmFriday: 6:45am-10am and 1pm-3:30pm What You Do Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and implementation of the client’s Life Plan, in accordance with client’s preferencesFollow established safety practices and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for clients and the organizationWork effectively within a team while respecting the right to privacy of the client, and confidentiality requirementsUse initiative to think creatively, learn, and growModel good decision-making skills and access appropriate resourcesAttend organizational and client-specific trainingsComply with documentation policies by submitting accurate and timely paperwork including progress notes, timesheets, expense logs and other required reportsMaintain documentation of services provided that are clear and legibleInspect and clean vehicle before and after each routeAssist clients in and out of vehicles and drop off locations when necessaryUse a company vehicle to do your drives, on occasion will use person vehicleAbility to be flexible and effectively pivot for unexpected changes during your shiftOther duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GEDExperience with people with disabilities and/or mental health is preferableAbility to support clients and comply with Behavior Support PlansValid Iowa Driver’s LicenseProof of 50/100/50K Automobile InsurancePossess a motor vehicle that meets the required operational and maintenance guidelines, that are in accordance with the Iowa Department of Transportation motor vehicle safety standards and Candeo’s Motor Vehicle Guidelines.Valid telephone numberValid addressInternet, Email access, smartphone accessMicrosoft Teams access (Teams will need to be downloaded onto your phone or computer)High level of both written and verbal communication skills in EnglishDemonstrated effective interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft software and applicationsAbility to pass Communication TrainingAbility to work successfully unsupervisedAbility to negotiate and handle conflict as necessaryAbility to travel in counties served by CANDEOMust be able to pass a pre-employment motor vehicle record check, criminal background check, child abuse, and dependent adult abuse checkDriver's record is pulled yearlyMust know standard safety protocols for driving in inclement weather Salary Description $15.00 Apply View All Jobs
