Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from appointments, group sessions, recreational activities, and discharge destinations.
- Ensure company vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and comply with all safety regulations.
- Maintain a secure and professional environment during transport, adhering to all policies and protocols.
- Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate patient schedules and report any concerns.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality standards.
- Relevant certifications in CPR or first aid are a plus.
Pay
$18 - $20 hourly
