Job Description
As a Transportation Security Officer at a government transportation location in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Your responsibilities include:

Requirements
- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas in accordance with site procedures, verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals as needed.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders in accordance with established protocols.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and actions taken.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Able to lift more than 20 lbs. is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
