Transportation Security Officer: Part Time Unarmed Patrol Activity Logs

About the role

As a Transportation Security Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This part-time, unarmed role involves monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with travelers and staff, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, suspicious activity, access-control concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use computers/tablets.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Schedule

• Part-time position.
• Daytime shifts: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM.

Pay

$24.25 per hour.
