Transportation Security Officer: Full Time Patrol Guest Services

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist travelers, visitors, and staff with professional service and clear communication. You will help maintain an orderly environment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed conditions.
- Monitor access points, restricted areas, and surrounding premises; verify credentials as directed and report access concerns or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and coordinating with airport operations and emergency responders as needed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual occurrences through clear and accurate reports, logs, and required communications.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Ability to use computers – basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Pay
$24.25 / hour

- Wednesday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
- Friday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
- Saturday: 11:30 PM – 08:00 AM
