Security Officer Full Time Route Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and/or delivery access in accordance with site policies.
• Support security-related operations for offices, data-sensitive areas, and other business spaces where working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Skills

• Computer literacy is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
