What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity at a technology-focused location, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management and delivery-related procedures.
- Support daily operations by communicating clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, completing required reports, and following post orders for assigned patrol duties.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
