Transportation Refrigeration Technician

About the role

Interstate Power Systems is seeking an experienced Transport Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to install, maintain, and repair Carrier or Thermo-King refrigeration systems and or other transport refrigeration equipment used in various industrial and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all Carrier and/or Thermo-King refrigeration units.
• Accurately and efficiently diagnose complex engine conditions and make necessary repairs.
• Communicate effectively with peers, foreman, and service team regarding those repairs.
• Quality control work performed to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Keep paperwork updated and handed in upon completion.
• Maintain certifications as required.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's license (Bonus compensation for CDL holders)
• Good work ethic, positive attitude, and reliability.
• Excellent understanding of Carrier and/or Thermo-King Refrigeration units.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
