Transportation Quality Assurance Inspector
Responsibilities
- Perform daily construction quality inspection/testing of day/night work operation to confirm the contractor is complying with the requirements of the contract plans and specifications
- Prepare detailed Daily Inspection Reports, with photos, accurately reflecting the construction progress
- Inspect and document materials acceptance
- Maintain a good working relationship with contractor and client
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience transportation projects (Highway, airport, transit, etc.) required
- WAQTC certifications preferred, or ability to get it in 3 months
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I preferred, or ability to get it in 3 months
- Inspection experience including traffic control, PCC and Asphalt paving, reinforced concrete, earthwork, drainage and striping
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work night/weekends shifts for an extended duration

Pay
$30.39 - $50.72 hr, depending on experience
Significant overtime can be expected
