Transportation Project Manager

Description

McClure is searching for a skilled Transportation Project Manager for their growing team. The Project Manager will lead various projects, demonstrating both leadership and technical expertise.

Project Management Duties

• Lead a productive and cohesive team contributing to the company's success and profitability
• Coordinate with key stakeholders throughout the project

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Prepare effective solutions to meet client needs and successfully complete projects
• Achieve team and corporate goals through planning and execution
• Maintain strong client relationships and articulate client goals to team members
• Monitor client satisfaction and prepare a business plan for team success
• Build trust, delegate work, and represent McClure on boards and commissions
• Prepare fee estimates, write proposals, and manage budgets and contracts

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Three to ten years of Project Management experience
• Professional Engineering License in Iowa, Missouri, and/or Kansas preferred
• Strong understanding of project management procedures
• Sustained success in building and maintaining client relationships
• Proven track record of successful projects
• Understanding of consulting engineering business practices, risks, financial accountability, and key financial metrics
• Understanding of business contract law, professional liability, and insurance coverage (plus)
