Transportation Project Manager
Your Impact
Serve as Project Manager for transportation projects development services, from pursuit through final delivery
Lead multidisciplinary design teams
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality in accordance with Lochner’s project management procedures
Act as the primary point of contact with project client and subconsultants
Support pursuits, including technical approach development, staffing plans, schedules.
Mentor and develop staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
Support client development and fostering relationships with existing and new clients.
Promote Lochner’s culture of safety, quality, and integrity on all projects
Who You Are
- 8+ years of transportation project development experience
- Experience in LaPorte and/or Crawfordsville District highly preferred
- Demonstrated project management experience on highway and or bridge design projects
- Strong working knowledge of INDOT policies and procedures
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-relationship skills
- Willingness to travel within Indiana as project and business development needs require

Physical Requirements
Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stoop, crawl, and lifting. The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 20 pounds. Must be alert to equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
