Transportation Project Manager

About the role
The successful candidate will work on all phases of transportation projects for a variety of public and private sector clients in our growing Rancho Cordova, CA office. You’ll join our top-ranked transportation team of highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated professionals focused on designing reliable and resilient highway infrastructure in northern California and other areas. Responsibilities
- Plan and design transportation projects, including state highway work, interchanges, roadway design, drainage systems, storm water management, utility relocations, and preparation of contract documents.
- Apply familiarity with state and local design standards, Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Manage client relationships, project budgets, and schedules efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub-consultants, agency review staff, and utilities.
- Compose concise technical reports, memorandums, and other written communications.
- Handle multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- California Professional Engineer (PE) License.
- 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering design.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microstation/Open Roads.
- Proven ability to meet project budgets and schedules.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay
The projected salary range for this position is $104,000–$141,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
