About the role
The Transportation Project Manager will oversee the design and implementation of roadways, highways, and interstates from preliminary to final stages. They will manage project teams, prepare technical analysis, and participate in business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a project manager on transportation projects, managing scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Manage project teams and technical staff, including mentoring and leading professional development.
- Contribute to strategic growth initiatives and represent Benesch at industry events.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities, prepare technical analysis, and lead project teams.
- Prepare and assist with grant applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, and a Professional Engineering License in Nebraska (or ability to obtain one upon hire).
- Experience in making presentations, interacting with clients, and attending conferences.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience in public bidding processes.
Qualifications
- Experienced in project management, including cost control and quality assurance.
- Ability to work independently and develop task deliverables.
Skills
- Excellent communication and client relations skills.
- Proficiency in preparing technical analysis and presentations.
