Transportation Operations Manager

About the role

Join Parking and Transportation Services as a Transportation Operations Manager to play a vital role in supporting and maintaining the university’s transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating safe and reliable transportation operations, and service implementation
• Serving as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations
• Supporting system performance, planning, and continuous improvement
• Providing customer service support to create positive experiences with clients
• Collaborating with drivers, supervisors, and campus partners on operational coordination
• Planning and executing event transportation coordination with all relevant parties
• Maintaining and updating transportation-related systems or operational tools
• Documenting operational workflows and standard operating procedures
• Delivering exceptional customer service support and outreach

Requirements

Specifically, You Will Be Responsible For:

• Coordinating safe and reliable transportation operations, and service implementation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation management or related field
• Experience with transportation operations, customer service, and stakeholder engagement
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
