Transportation Logistics Specialist
What's the Job?
Deliver exceptional carrier and driver support in a high-volume operations environment by resolving transportation disruptions and ensuring timely issue resolution.
Monitor load execution, coordinate repair requests, and help maintain on-time pickup and delivery performance across the transportation network.
Utilize internal systems and data from multiple sources to generate operational reports and support performance tracking and decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, carriers, rail partners, and field operations to identify trends, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
Support peak-volume and weather-related operations in a fast-paced environment, including schedule adherence, overtime as needed, and assistance with over-the-road driver and carrier disruptions.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum 1 year of customer service, contact center, or related support experience; logistics a plus
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings/nights, and holidays as business needs require
- Availability to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed in a fast-paced operational environment
