We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and driven intern to collaborate with the Global Logistics team and other functions to achieve key business initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Global Logistics team and other functions to achieve key business initiatives.
• Impact MSA's bottom line through Freight Cost Reduction Projects.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to assist the team in assessing cost improvement opportunities.
• Track on-time delivery performance.
• Perform data modeling for shipping agreements.
• Understand fuel pricing impacts.
• Track inbound freight cost performance.
• Work cross-functionally with buying, distribution, and sales teams.
• Establish relationships with regional, national, and global service providers.
• Gain experience in overcoming global supply chain challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capability.
• Proficiencies in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Access.
• Prior SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage in teams and collaboration.
• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a Business discipline (Supply Chain, Mathematics, or other analytical field).
• Must have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year.
