Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments (FTL, LTL, Sprinter, Parcel, etc.) across multiple warehouse locations nationwide.
  • Book freight with approved carriers and brokers while ensuring requested pickup and delivery dates are met.
  • Secure carrier capacity to support daily shipping requirements while balancing service and transportation costs.
  • Confirm all pickup appointments, delivery appointments, and carrier acceptance prior to shipment.
  • Maintain continuous communication regarding shipment status, delays, service interruptions, appointment changes, and delivery exceptions before they impact internal teams or customers.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Warehouse, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Procurement to prevent transportation and supply chain disruptions.
  • Support reporting related to inbound freight, carrier performance, transportation costs, and service metrics.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, freight operations, or supply chain.
  • Experience scheduling FTL, LTL, expedited, parcel, and brokered freight.
  • Experience working directly with carriers, freight brokers, warehouses, and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous active shipments simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, follow-up, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize competing transportation demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and transportation portals; TMS experience is a plus.

Pay

Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly
