We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker. This role is responsible for supporting residents in their daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Support residents with personal care needs, including hygiene, nutrition, and medication management
Assist residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry
Monitor residents' health and safety, reporting any concerns to supervisors immediately
Engage in recreational activities and outings to promote social interaction and community involvement
Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
Maintain a safe and clean environment for all residents

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid NJ Driver's License
At least one year of relevant work experience in a caregiving or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Knowledge of disability rights and best practices in residential care
Passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others

Skills
