Transportation Engineer

About the role

We are currently seeking a full-time Transportation Engineer to join our team. Our team works with State and Local Governments on transportation related projects.

Responsibilities

• Design of complex transportation infrastructure projects, with a focus on roadway and highway elements
• Prepare and review project reports
• Communicate and schedule work with Survey Department
• Complete work on schedule and within budgets
• Plan and prepare transportation project plans and specifications
• Periodic on-site construction observation

Requirements

• 10+ years of transportation engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Missouri or Iowa PE required. PTOE not required but desired
• Experience with PowerGEOPAK and/or OpenRoads Designer preferred
• MoDOT or IaDOT experience preferred, KDOT experience acceptable

Salary Range

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Illinois Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Salary Range: $91,000-$129,443
