Transportation Driver

About the role

Givens Aldersgate is seeking a Part-Time CDL Driver to transport residents within the facility and sometimes off-site.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation for Aldersgate residents cross-campus and off campus in accordance with facility policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Exhibits a working knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to a commercial driver’s license.
• Relays situations/problems concerning the residents, vehicles, other persons, etc. to appropriate staff, providing supportive documentation as appropriate.
• Performs pre-trip inspection prior to each trip and submits reports on a timely basis.
• Provides an atmosphere on the vehicles that is environmentally and emotionally pleasant for the riders.
• Accurately keeps co-workers and supervisor well informed on a timely basis, communicating through proper channels.
• Maintains confidentiality of communication and information related to residents, co-workers, etc.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent
• 1+ years of transportation experience
• CDL

Compensation

$17.50 - $20.50 per hour, based on experience.
