Transportation Dispatcher

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Transportation Coordinators and Drivers.
• Accurately fulfill the plans developed by Transportation Coordinators.
• Assist Drivers in delivering shipments to their destination in a timely manner.
• Help Drivers with equipment breakdowns, spills, and operational inquiries.
• Process phone calls from Drivers and Service Centers professionally and promptly.
• Utilize dispatch management software to execute Driver assignment planning.
• Maintain excellent communication with internal customers.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes.

Qualifications

• Background in transportation, logistics coordinating, dispatching, or LTL operations.
• Excellent planning capabilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional and courteous communication skills.
• Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts.
