Transportation Diesel Mechanic / Technician

About the Role

TCI Maintenance is hiring a Level 2 or 3 Diesel Mechanic for a day shift position, Monday through Friday, in Liberty Hill, Texas. We’re seeking a skilled technician with 3–4+ years of heavy-duty diesel truck experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a team-focused attitude. The role requires troubleshooting expertise using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, self-motivation, and a commitment to quality repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software.
• Troubleshoot and identify necessary repairs, avoiding unnecessary part replacements.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
• Be on call as needed to support fleet maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• 3–4+ years of diesel engine repair experience on heavy-duty diesel trucks.
• Strong diagnostic skills using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirements.
• Class B CDL preferred but not required.

Pay

Pay range: $27.00–$37.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, with on-call availability as needed.
