Transportation Design Project Engineer - Hybrid

Primary Responsibilities

  • Aid in or lead transportation planning and engineering studies on various projects in Wisconsin
  • Create environmental and design documentation, including report writing
  • Contribute to automated highway design tasks such as plan preparation, drainage design, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating
  • Involvement in and/or leadership of public engagement activities
  • Support project pursuit efforts, including proposal preparation, project interview support, and estimating effort for new projects
  • Act as a technical resource for project staff and assist with their professional development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university
  • At least 8 years of transportation design experience
  • A professional engineering license from the State of Wisconsin is required
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
  • Experience with the WisDOT facilities development process is highly preferred
  • Applicable U.S. based work experience
