Transportation Construction Supervisor

About the role

Interviewing now for Long Term I-83 project (4 year) starting in Fall of 2026.

Responsibilities

• Supervising a large inspection staff and all project documentation including daily reports, change orders, pay items and schedules
• Coordinating with contractors and making sure work follows plans, specifications and contract requirements
• Tracking progress and resolving delays and cost issues
• Resolving construction problems/issues with contractor

Eligibility

• Four (4) year minimum PennDOT experience as a Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI-3) or higher
• Has two (2) of the following three (3) certifications:
  • PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification
  • NECEPT Field Technician Certification
  • NICET Level II Certification in Highway Construction
