Transportation Area Manager

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including the root cause analysis of problem areas
- Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership
- Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
- Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools
- Supervise a team of Transportation Associates to ensure Amazon customers receive their orders
- Ensure proper training and address associates’ needs so they can focus on their jobs
- Support, mentor, and motivate the hourly workforce
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
- Lead change at internet speed to drive innovation
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience

Pay
The base salary range for this position in USA, NY, Lancaster is $70,000.00 – $90,900.00 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
