Transportation Area Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including the root cause analysis of problem areas
• Streamline logistics in the operation through the implementation of standard work and team leadership
• Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates
• Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Transportation Associates responsible for ensuring Amazon customers receive their orders
• Ensure your team is properly trained and their needs are addressed so they can focus on their jobs
• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Lead change at internet speed to drive innovation

Requirements

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques experience

Pay

Base salary range: $70,000.00 - $90,900.00 USD annually (USA, MO, St. Peters). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
