Transportation Analyst

Toyota Material Handling is seeking a qualified candidate to support day-to-day operations for inbound and outbound shipping. This role involves working with various transportation companies and internal customers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
• Gather data from carrier scorecard
• Analyze and process freight damage claims
• Support development of yearly budget for departments
• Gather data for development of cost-saving measures
• Foster carrier relations with good communication and conflict resolution
• Process freight and invoices
• Support process improvement activity within the Transportation Department
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience
• Certifications in Logistics-related field preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Working knowledge of the different forms of transportation (intermodal and over the road)
• Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephone
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of TMS
• Proficiency with SAP preferred

Schedule

This is an in-person role located at our Columbus, Indiana office. Travel: up to 20% (domestic and international).

Pay

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience. This role is eligible for relocation assistance based on current location.
