Transportation Aide - CNA

About the Role

We’re seeking a dependable Transportation Aide – CNA to ensure residents are safely transported to and from appointments and activities while receiving attentive care. Success in this position requires professionalism, strong patient care skills, and safe driving practices at all times.

Responsibilities

• Drive residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and scheduled activities.
• Monitor safety and comfort throughout transport.
• Observe for changes in residents' condition during transport and report any concerns promptly.
• Assist residents with ambulation and transfers using assistive devices and proper technique.
• Record vital signs when needed during transport.
• Assist with CNA duties in the facility when not transporting residents.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 25 years old (insurance requirement).
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Texas.
• Ability to pass DMV check and qualify for company insurance.
• Completion of the Employee Driver Proficiency program.
• Strong communication, patience, and attention to detail.
• Comfortable with both caregiving and safe vehicle operation.
