About the role
In conjunction with the transplant team, assumes responsibility for coordinating the delivery of care for the transplant patient. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice involved in providing nursing care. Familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations. Orchestrates the care of patients with end stage organ disease.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program
- Required Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program
Certifications
- CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator required within 2 years of hire as a Transplant Nurse Coordinator
- Cert Clinical Transplant Coord Required
Licenses
- PA Registered Nurse License Required
- Multi State Compact RN License Required
Experience
- 3 years experience in nursing
- General Experience And Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record
- General Experience in a Transplant program
- Preferred General Experience In Critical Care
