Transplant Nurse Coordinator - Liver Transplant- 40/hrs, Day Shifts (Temple University Hospital)

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the transplant team, assumes responsibility for coordinating the delivery of care for the transplant patient.
• Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice involved in providing nursing care.
• Familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations.
• Orchestrates the care of patients with end stage organ disease.

Qualifications

• CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator required within 2 years of hire as a Transplant Nurse Coordinator.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program.
• Required: Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program.
• Preferred: 3 years experience in nursing.
• Required: General Experience and Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record.
• Required: General Experience in a Transplant program.
• Preferred: General Experience in Critical Care.
• Preferred: PA Registered Nurse License.
• Required: Multi-State Compact RN License.
