Transmission Technician

We are looking for a Certified Transmission Technician to join our growing team at a Ford dealership. The right candidate will have a strong service technician background and ASE certification. Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair transmissions.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of any additional service needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ASE certification required.
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is preferred.
• B‑level qualifications, including diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair.
• Dexterity, steady hand, and excellent hand‑eye coordination.
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills; ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive, friendly attitude with eagerness to improve.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with teammates.
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
