Transmission Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Transmission Technician to join our growing service department. This is a union position, offering excellent pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild automatic and manual transmissions on all makes and models
• Perform complete transmission overhauls, clutch replacements, and driveline repairs
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and factory software to troubleshoot issues
• Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers

Requirements

• Experience as a Transmission Technician (Ford or other OEM experience preferred but not required)
• ASE or manufacturer certifications (a plus, but not required)
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to rebuild transmissions and perform complex repairs
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
