Transmission Line Project Manager

Position Details Location: Las Vegas, NV (100% onsite)Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday-FridayDuration: Initial 1-year contract with strong extension potentialTravel: Occasional travel to project sites, with all approved expenses covered Key Responsibilities Manage transmission line projects through construction, commissioning, and closeout.Lead project scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, and risk management activities.Coordinate with engineering, construction, environmental, permitting, ROW, and operations teams.Interface with regulatory agencies, including the BLM and environmental stakeholders.Resolve construction, permitting, environmental, and stakeholder-related challenges.Provide project updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to leadership.Support major transmission capital projects and grid expansion initiatives. Required Qualifications 5+ years of utility, transmission, power delivery, or infrastructure project management experienceExperience supporting 220kV-500kV transmission line projectsStrong preference for experience on 345kV transmission projectsExperience working on transmission projects spanning 50+ milesBackground supporting permitting, environmental, and regulatory processesExperience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar project management toolsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications PE LicensePMP CertificationInvestor-Owned Utility (IOU) experienceTransmission expansion, reliability, or grid modernization project experienceFamiliarity with NERC, FERC, OSHA, and environmental compliance requirements EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
