About the Role
Translates verbal or written communications from English to Spanish or from Spanish to English.
Requirements
- Three years experience in an Interpreter/Translator capacity.
- Must be able to demonstrate expertise and competency in interpreting and translating.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish, with a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
- The Bilingual Proficiency exam must be taken and passed on or before the deadline of the posting.
- FBI fingerprint background check (prior to start date).
- Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization (prior to start date).
- Valid Driver’s license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire).
- MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1.
- Reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum for car insurance as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1.
Schedule
- Full-time position (1.0 FTE, 8 hours per day).
- 12-month work calendar.
Benefits
- Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
- Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language.
Pay
