About the role
The Spanish teacher will be responsible for teaching Spanish to students in grades 6-12 at Greenbrier High School.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student learning through various methods including quizzes, tests, and projects
- Mentor and support students' academic and personal growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional strategies
- Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills
Requirements
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching license in Middle/High School Foreign Language, specifically Spanish
- At least two years of successful teaching experience at the high school level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff
Qualifications
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish
- Experience with technology integration in the classroom
- Strong organizational and time management skills
