2026 - 2027 School Year - Spanish Teacher

About the role

East Robertson High School is seeking a certified Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is available at 158 Kilgore Trace, Cross Plains, TN 37049.

Responsibilities

• Teach Spanish language and culture to students in grades 6-12
• Instruct students on grammar, vocabulary, and cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world
• Create lesson plans and assessments aligned with state standards
• Mentor and support student academic and personal growth
• Participate in department meetings and collaborate with colleagues
• Assist in extracurricular activities related to Spanish language and culture

Requirements

• Master's degree in Spanish or related field
• Valid teaching license in Tennessee
• At least two years of successful teaching experience
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience with differentiated instruction
• Knowledge of current educational technology and its integration into the curriculum

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
