About the Role

Compton Unified School District is seeking a qualified Spanish teacher for a full-time position with a 184-work-day (10-month) calendar. The role requires California Single Subject Teaching Credential authorizing service in Spanish.

Requirements

• California Single Subject Teaching Credential authorizing service in Spanish (interns may apply; intern eligibility letter from university must be attached)
• Current résumé (résumés will not be accepted in lieu of completed EdJoin application)
• Letter of introduction
• EL Authorization
• CSET passing status or Subject Matter Waiver Letter
• Three professional letters of recommendation from immediate supervisors, signed and dated within the past two years
• Copies of transcripts
• AB 2534 and Work Experience sections must be completed on EdJoin application

Pay & Schedule

• Salary: $67,404 – $125,656 (Credentialed)
• $1,000 annual stipend for Doctorate Degree
• Length of Work Year: 184 work days (10 months)
