Responsibilities

• Help prepare, portion, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu
• Assist with tray assembly and make sure each resident gets the right meal
• Deliver nourishments to residents as prescribed
• Prepare, label, store, and dispose of food using proper food handling and safety techniques
• Wash and store dishes and utensils, and record wash, rinse, and chemical temperatures
• Complete kitchen and dining room cleaning assignments using proper chemicals and techniques
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized

Requirements

• A friendly, dependable attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Food service experience is a plus, but not required
