Transit and Rail Civil Engineer

About the role

As a key member of the VHB team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects that enhance communities and protect the environment. You will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sustainable solutions for complex environmental challenges.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making.
• Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Engage in community outreach and education initiatives related to environmental stewardship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
• Understanding of environmental impact assessment processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
