Responsibilities
- Contribute to the production and delivery of transit design projects with a particular focus on, but not limited to, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) projects.
- Corridor concept development.
- Aid in public outreach efforts.
- Transit evaluation.
- Multidisciplinary coordination required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- 4+ years of transit-focused engineering experience including:
- Transit corridor design experience, focused on (but not limited to) BRT and LRT modes.
- Track/guideway design.
- Roadway design.
- Station design, including park-and-ride facilities.
- Outgoing, self-motivated team player.
- High level of proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience communicating and working with clients.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to balance priorities among multiple projects.
Pay
Salary Range: $105,000 - $170,000
