Job Duties

• Honors all personal and business commitments to all customers
• Operates company vehicle safely, courteously, and obeys all traffic regulations
• Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD's collected and all related paperwork
• Completion of daily Check In/Out process, DOT pre-trips and post-trips
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or GED required
• A valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card required
• A clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required
• Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Requires a strong attention to detail
• Must be able to meet company MVR standard
• Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers
• Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively
• Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics
• Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative
• Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problems

Physical Demands and Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching and twisting for shifts lasting 8+ hours
• May require sitting or standing for extended periods
• Regularly lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 40 lbs. without assistance
• Occasionally requires the ability to lift over 170 lbs. with or without assistance
• Requires pushing and pulling of loads up to approximately 350 lbs. with or without assistance

Environmental Conditions and Temperament

• Job duties are performed in warehouse, at loading dock and inside and outside retail buildings
• Exposure to outside weather (heat and cold), walk-in cooler temperatures, exposure to fumes, vibrations and noise levels
• Ability to maintain a professional image in public eye while performing the duties

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation range: $30.00 per hour
