Transfer Driver Part-Time CDL Required

About the role

The Transfer Driver will shuttle trucks from branch to branch or from branch to customer on an on-call, as needed, basis. The transfer driver may also pick up units at the manufacturer or upfit locations.

Responsibilities

• C conducts maintenance checks utilizing the vehicle maintenance form to record safety and functionality of assigned vehicle.
• Maintain assigned vehicles cleanliness (interior & exterior) in accordance with company policy.
• Plan route for efficient delivery while maintaining positive expectations.
• Ensure all trucks are delivered safely and accurately to locations.
• Collect, secure, and properly document for all trucks delivered.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Position requires a commercial drivers license, Class A.
• Position requires a valid drivers license and the ability to operate motor vehicles.
• All drivers must maintain a safe driving record.
• Navigation skills/GPS
